Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will be one of several DOE National Laboratories convening a 1000-Scientist Advanced Reasoning Model Assessment Jam, to be conducted across the national lab complex. Commercial AI Laboratories, such as OpenAI, will provide all participants with access to their latest reasoning models to tackle complex scientific challenges.

Berkeley National Laboratory will host approximately 180 attendees, primarily LBNL scientists and researchers, including postdocs, from various domains. The full-day working session will involve posing scientific questions, recording inputs, outputs, results, and analyzing model responses. More detailed information is provided in the Call for Participation document below.
